Glazed Teal Blue Swallows
Swallows are migratory birds that indicate the arrival of spring. These birds have a characteristic that sets them apart. They almost always return to the same place where they first made the nest and have only one partner along the way! Therefore, they became a symbol of Love, Family, Loyalty, Home and Loyalty.
They are the meaning of harmony and happiness in the houses where they are hung.
There is a relationship between swallows and the Portuguese people. We are adventurous people who leave home in search of new worlds, but we always end up returning home. Just like the swallow, despite being a migratory bird, which explores all corners of the world, once a year it always returns to its original nest.
In Portugal it is typical to see these swallows hanging on the walls of houses!
They symbolize the family members. The large size are the parents, the medium size are the children and the small size are the grandchildren.
