Copper Hammered Cataplana
The cataplana is used in Portugal to prepare typical dishes (especially clams and seafood) from the south of the country.
It is made up of two concave parts, closed by hinges. It allows you to slowly cook food with steam, giving it a unique and unmistakable flavor.
This cataplana model can be used on gas, induction and electric stoves.

COOKING RECIPE – CLAMBES IN THE DISH
Make fair some slices of onion (a lot), crushed garlics with skin, minsed parsley and olive oil, a little hot-sauce, butter or margarine, white wine of good quality and red pepper( morrones). After the onions, parsley and garlics are fair, add the wine, the clambs and fried meats(ham, sinpleton, Italian sausage), let cook for about 5 to 10 minutes. Rub both parts of simpleton and ham, and then more clmbs, a leaf of alurel, bunches of parsley, onion slices and fried pork. Let cook for 15 minutes.
